Joni Simmons

Joni is a gifted and intuitively guided energy worker. Sharing her gifts, insights, and connections, along with this awakening journey with others is her passion. 

This profound journey of learning, growing and awakening began for her in 2012. Feeling strongly she had a higher purpose, she began her journey into opening her awareness for guidance. This led her to a deeper understanding of the subconscious, how we show up for one another's experiences, our connection to all things, and energy work. Her fascination with energies, and the metaphysical healing methods led her to her Reiki Master, Ministers License, all levels of Seraphim Blueprint, Pranic Healing, Shambhala, Access Consciousness, Deeksha Givers Course for Oneness Blessings, Guided Channeling, knowledge in A Touch for Health healing method, understanding of the B.E.S.T. system, along with the importance of Emotional Clearing, Meridian Balancing, and ultimately Crystal Light Bed Therapy. She works with crystals, programming crystals, grids, and cleanses spaces. 

Joni's purpose at this time in her journey is to facilitate physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual balance, this allowing healing to take place on all levels. Assisting in opening awareness, raising the vibration and awakening of humanity.... Thus, Awakened Soul.

Savanah Rae Simmons

Savanah is a huge part of Awakened Soul’s beauty and creativity! You will find Savanah much of the time in our boutique, pleasantly greeting students, customers and clients. Often times designing our beautiful and unique jewelry, and energy items for sell. Savanah is very artistic and runs our Instagram advertising, taking creative photos and designing informational posts daily.

Jennifer Tholen

Jennifer is an exceptional instructor of fitness, and wellness on many levels. A beautiful and genuine soul, Jennifer brightens the space with her presence. We are honored to have her here in our studio! You can join Jennifer here weekly, for  Kundalini Yoga, Pilates, and an occasional Saturday  vinyasa. 
 Jennifer began her yoga practice over 25 years ago as a student of the University of Utah. Yoga became her way of calming and re-centering during challenging courses of math and chemistry. Jennifer has studied many styles of yoga based on physical, emotional and spiritual needs. Yoga is Jennifer's place of solace, inspiration, and strength. 

Vedya Ravi Kaur

My Name is Vedya Ravi Kaur. I AM a Professional Certified Kundalini Teacher of the Kundalini Research Institute, Certified Gong Yoga Practitioner and Sound Healer. I have a deep love for the technology of Kundalini Yoga, Mantra Meditation, Aquarian Sadhana and Yoga Nidra. I teach Kundalini Yoga at DSU through the ICL division. I love to travel, sharing my gifts with others. I am also a shamanic practitioner, studying thru don Oscar Miro-Quesada and Sandra Ingerman and Shamanic Reiki practioner who offers Reiki Shares. My passion also includes sharing my life with my 6 adorable bunnies. My gifts to the world are to be a Giver of Roses, caretaker of my beloved bunnies and empowering others through music, drumming, writings, songs, ceremony, or just plain laughter. It is a pleasure to be in service and channel the Love of the Divine!--

Hi! I'm Camille. Teaching yoga and wholehearted living to adventurous, loving, and down to earth people is what I do best. If you love to explore, love yourself and the earth, and are fine with opening your mind to change and bettering your life, we will get along great.  I've been a yoga instructor since 2014.  Yoga helps me stretch my soul creatively, feel love for the world we live in and has brought lifelong friendships into my life.  I am a picture taking, world traveling, yoga practicing, yummy food eating, tiny home living girl and I can't wait to meet you.

From the moment I took my first Kundalini yoga class, I knew I was home! I am so fascinated with this science for mind, body and soul. I was Level 1-certified 2 years ago and have been teaching at Downtown Yoga, St. George since then.  I recently completed my Level 2 Mind & Meditation certification. I love teaching and practicing this yoga & love sharing it with others!

Ryan Bean

Ryan Bean is a acrobat performer and Yoga instructor. Ryan received his 200 and 2 300 Hour yoga trainings in the foothills of the Himalayas in Rishikesh, India. Ryan teaches Hatha, Vinyasa, Budokon, Ashtanga, Power yoga and his style of yoga called Vortex Yoga. Incorporating Meditation, Sound Journey Healings, Pranayama and trauma sensitive practices along accessible and inclusive yoga into each class. Partner Yoga and AcroYoga are at the core of his style and he may include these fun elements into a class to help emphasize community and trust within the group. Ryan brings a unique style, incorporating the traditional and spiritual practices of yoga learned in the ashrams of India with the playful acro practice. Ryan's classes are a mixture of spiritual, playful, flow, and guided asanas to help you grow and work toward alignment.

Tejbir Singh

Tejbir Singh is a certified Kundalini Yoga and Meditation as taught by Yogi Bhajan teacher.  Yoga and meditation are the foundation in his life and sharing it with others is his mission.  He has been teaching for the past 4 years in Mesquite and St George.  His classes involve posture, mudra, pranayam, meditation, and mantra in the form of kriyas, as given by the master Yogi Bhajan.  This way students get the most powerful experience, a direct transmission from the master, in every class.  Join him on Sundays at 9:15 am.  Keep up and you'll be kept up!

Karambir Singh Khalsa

Karambir Singh Khalsa is a Level I certified Kundalini Yoga instructor   He is currently working at Dixie State University as a Psychology Doctoral Intern and is a doctoral candidate in clinical psychology at Sofia University in Palo Alto, California. His dissertation research will study the possible mental health benefits of gong meditation.

Karambir’s classes are specific to the energy of the day and often include kriyas and meditations with a focus on mental heath and well being.

Erin Boorman

Erin began her yoga journey in 2008 when she started practicing yoga, which led her to becoming a certified 200 hour yoga instructor.  She teaches Hatha Yoga and Restorative Yoga. A few years later she fell in love with Kundalini Yoga. It has had a profound impact on her life and she has been a certified KRI Level 1 teacher since 2018.  In addition to teaching yoga, she is a licensed Mental Health Counselor with a focus on Internal Family Systems Therapy. She feels blessed to be able to use her knowledge in both areas to guide individuals to finding the truest version of their selves.
